Guiding Principles

Introduction

The Healing, Health and Environmental Justice Fair (HHEJF) is an opportunity to depict our struggles, successes, and alternative thinking and practices in our pursuit to create another world. Participants of the US Social Forum will show that Another World is Possible exemplified in what is shown and shared at the Healing, Health and Environmental Justice Fair.

Vision & Principles

Potential users of the space for HHEJF will reflect the World Social Forum vision and principles and adhere to the principles of environmental justice. Health is a human right and resources on display should reflect the same. The World Social Forum vision of love, trust, justice, cooperation, equality, struggle and transformation will be manifested at this fair. The World Social Forum including the US Social Forum is an open platform for discussing strategies of resistance to neo-liberal globalization, and alternative paths to sustainable development, economic, social, and environmental justice.

Guidelines

1) Demonstrate mutual respect in communicating with one another
2) Respect the diversity of various health and healing practices;
3) Be flexible with users of the space without losing the essence of the HHEJF;
4) Please complete the Vendor Application form in advance of the suggested deadline.

We believe that Another World is Possible. We are thinking of you and others, valuing our differences and experimenting with new ideas. We hope to expand our consciousness beyond our HHEJF circle and to the world. We hope this HHEJF will provide you with the opportunity to meet other people who share your values and can serve as a support system in our fight for healing, health, and environmental justice.

To participate in the Fair please REGISTER for the US Social Forum and email hhej2007@gmail.com to let us know you are interested in participating.
