The Peoples Movement Assembly has been described as a "'coming together' of all the movements, networks, alliances, and organizations to articulate: 'What we want, What we are for, and Our next steps,'" as well as a "means of connecting the first US Social Forum and the proposed second USSF in 2010."

Consistent with this focus on vision and strategy, we propose:

That the United States Social Forum put out a call/entreaty that each organization, coalition, project, and movement that intends to relate to the second US Social Forum in 2010 and be a contributor to and part of an emerging movement of movements for a new equitable, just, and participatory US society prioritize developing proposals and presentations for vision and strategy to win that new world, particularly emphasizing economy, culture/community, gender/sexuality/kinship, polity, ecology, and international relations, rooted in present conditions and possibilities but very explicitly aimed toward a future revolution in the United States.
