The primary function of the USSF Program Working Group is to develop and implement programmatic themes and the methodology for the USSF. While it draws from the WSF's programmatic structure and experiences, it also intends to do this in a way that is distinct and speaks to the reality and context of the US.

US Social Forum Program Guidelines

The Program Working Group has developed the 3 primary "content" days for the USSF to follow a structured flow as follows, between the Opening and Closing Events:

Wednesday, June 27th: Opening Events
Thursday, June 28th: Information & Consciousness Building
Friday, June 29th: Vision
Saturday, June 30th: Strategizing
Sunday, July 1st: Closing Events

Most of the work and communications of the Program Working Group are currently conducted by monthly conference calls, as well as regular email communication over the Program Working Group listserv.
