This session will be on: June 30, 2007 - 3:30pm It will be held at: Auditorium Back Left room at the Atlanta Civic Center View scheduleOrganization DescriptionOur organization, Peace for the Streets by Kids From The Streets (PSKS) was founded in 1995 as a response to the growing number of homeless youth in the Seattle area. We do not focus on giving hand-outs, all though we do some of this, rather our work focuses on empowering street involved youth to become advocates for themselves. To this end we have programs that focus on grant writing, a school, community art projects and various social events.
