Session Description

This would be a workshop profiling the voice of Indigenous peoples of the Southeast region and throughout the United States protecting sacred sites. There are significant areas throughout the country that have been destroyed by colonization, conquest and militarization. Today, many Indigenous peoples are still figthing to protect sacred sites and cultural and spiritually significant areas from western forms of development and industrialization.
