The National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America ( NCOBRA)is a mass based coalition organized for the sole purpose of obtaining reparations for the African American desendants in the United States. NCOBRA was founded in 1987 and will commmerate i's 20th year of organizing around this issue. Now this issue has mobilized around the global significance of repair and justice for diasporan Africans, people of color and oppressed. NCOBRA has stirred up the question of indigenous relief from oppression. The mission of NCOBRA is to win full reparations for Black African descendants residing in the United Sates and its territories for the genocidel war against Afriacans that created the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, Chattel Slavery, Jim Crow and the continuing vestiges of Slavery, the free labor institution that unjustly enriched the system utilized by the U.S. commonly known as Capitalism and Imperialism.
