Session Description

This worksho will explore (in English) the concept of small business enterprise to empower battered refugee and immigrant women here in the United States. Case studies and stories of women that have been served by Refugee Women's Network Microenterprise Program will be used to explore this concept. Participants will discuss and analyse the case studies in small groups to figure out what a microenterprise program CAN or CANNOT do for battered women seeking economic empowerment.
