Fight Imperialism Stand Together (FIST) is a national group of young activists committed to fighting racism, sexism, the oppression of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, and the exploitation of the working class, all of which are the result of imperialism and capitalism. We believe that the only way to achieve true liberation for all peoples throughout the world is socialism. FIST chapters have been active in opposing the US war and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan; in defending victims of sexual assault and violence and in support of women's rights for reproductive healthcare; in organizing counter-recruitment campaigns; in defending immigrant communities and workers' rights.
