This session will be on: June 30, 2007 - 3:30pm It will be held at: Olympic B room at the Atlanta Marriott Downtown View scheduleOrganization DescriptionSOUL (the School of Unity and Liberation) is a school to build a movement.
We work to build an anti-imperialist movement by strengthening the leadership of young organizers and left mass-based organizations rooted in oppressed communities. We believe this work will contribute to advancing powerful people’s movements that can challenge global exploitation and oppression while creating alternative systems based on a just distribution of resources and work.
Over the past decade, SOUL has trained thousands of young people from hundreds of organizations in organizing, political analysis, and facilitation through programs like SOUL Summer School, Training for Trainers, the National Youth Organizing Training Institute, and more.
