This session has not been scheduled. Organization DescriptionCreated in 2000 in Olympia, WA, Skate Like a Girl is a group of *girl skateboarders who are determined to create an inclusive counter-culture to the all too often exclusive mainstream skateboarding culture. We believe that skate culture should be welcoming to all people, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, body size, class and age. We organize weekly skate jams, a week-long summer skate camp and annual events, as well as offer instructional clinics to groups of girls and women of all ages. We strive to build coalitions with other community projects that are working for social justice and we seek to support other grassroots girl skate organizations globally...

Heck! You're even welcome if you were assigned female but have since transitioned!...In short, ALL GIRLS/WOMEN are welcome!
