This session will be on: June 29, 2007 - 10:30am It will be held at: Mezzanine Right room at the Atlanta Civic Center View scheduleOrganization DescriptionStruggle is a magazine of proletarian revolutionary literature Proposal Demographicsare artists/cultural workers Session DescriptionActivist poets are invited to come and, time permitting, each contribute a short (1-3 minute) poem--or more, depending on the numbers who join us. Dennis Brutus, the South African poet, will be a featured guest and have extended time to read from his work. It is possible that there might be one or two others. Those who would like to contribute a poem by someone else, or to simply listen, are also welcome. We encourage poems relating to the themes of the USSF, though there is no restriction on content. The primary language will be English, since that is the language Struggle publishes in. But poets who would like to read in other languages are also welcome. We will have a one-sheet handout of poems from previous issues of the magazine.
