Session Description

Nepal is going through transitional phase. Armed Maoists have dropped their weapons in the cantonment and have come in the national political mainstream. Will Maoists be honest enough to respect Peace Accord? They are the in the forefront to raise the issues of minorities in New Nepal, but are they inclusive themself in nature and behaviors? These are to be analyzed before we move forward to make NEW NEPAL.

The country is heading towards the Constituent Assembly and will form a NEW NEPAL. But what are the challenges, what are the key issues of Minorities which include Dalits, Indigeneous, Madhesis, Sexual Minorities, Women, Religious Minorites and all other minorities and disadvantaged people in this NEW NEPAL.

This session will bring about the analysitcal voices of these marginalized people of Nepal and will work in building formal and informal networks for the solidarity of their cause.
