This session will be on: June 28, 2007 - 1:00pm It will be held at: International H room at the Westin Hotel View scheduleOrganization DescriptionTo be completed Session DescriptionI would like to present and Indigenous Thinking Process presentation. It is based in the actualization of my Native language, which is an Indigenous language to this country, Turtle Island, now temporarily called the United States. The 'thinking process' is an amalgamation of quantum thoughts (not theory) that is prevalent in many Indigenous languages, based on egalitarianism, the absence of thoughts and ideas regarding death, and a voice that is the most ancient in this land. Sounds outrageous doesn't it? I would ask you all to take a chance and see that the "rationalized" version of thinking which is not based on relational thought but upon one which measures, times, weighs, counts and owns (possessive) cannot find any solutions....it hasn't thus far. The "rational" way of thinking is fairly new to humankind across the globe, it is only 4-5 thousand years old and since it was honed in Greece it has caused much despair and suffering. The Indigenous thinking process, which is in all pictures, such is the Lakota language and is based upon true inclusiveness. Anyway, take a chance and offer an Indigenous person an opportunity to translate these ideas from an ancient culture based upon the quantum of peace. It is based in metaphorical thinking, which are dreams, visions and most of all, intuition. I would like to present the Indigenous Thinking Process. It is based
in the actualizing of thought processess differentiating
"rational-linear-hierarchical" and "egalitarian-relational-inclusive"
The "Indigenous thinking process" is an amalgamation of quantum
thoughts (not theory) that is prevalent in many Indigenous languages.
One example, of "Indigenous non-euro" is the absence of concepts in an
objective/subjective perspective when it comes to the word or idea of
death, or war, love, fear, hope, guilt, or heaven and hell, which in
turn is based on salvation point mentalities. The prevalent forms of
hierarchical organization is the possessive ideas espoused in terms
such as "our earth", "our environment", "our nation" and morphing into
the false-face altruism "save our earth".
Sounds outrageous doesn't it? Sound critical doesn't it? The
"rationalized" versions of thinking which is not based on relational
thought but upon one which measures, times, weighs, counts and owns
(possessive) cannot find any solutions....it hasn't thus far. The
"rational" way of thinking is fairly new to humankind across the
globe, it is only 4-5 thousand years old and since it was honed in
Greece it has caused much despair and suffering.
The Indigenous thinking process, which is all pictures, such is the
Lakota language and is based upon true inclusiveness.
Anyway, take a chance and offer an Indigenous person an opportunity to
translate these ideas from an ancient culture based upon the quantum
of peace. It is based in metaphorical thinking, which are dreams,
visions and most of all, intuition.
