The People's Movement Assembly recognizes the critical need to connect the struggles for economic, social, racial, environmental and gender justice and peace. Concretely, for an end to the Iraq war, for strong federal action on the climate crisis, for rebuilding New Orleans and all impacted communities and for serious action to end racism and corporate greed. We recognize the importance of nonviolent
direct action to press these demands and disrupt business as usual.

Accordingly, we endorse the No War, No Warming initiative and its plans for a
national intervention in Washington, D.C. October 21-23, with local actions
across the country around the same time.
