Resolution 3: Since global migration is directly linked to global economic policies and the impact of free trade agreements, Jobs with Justice (JwJ) representatives at the US Social Forum wish to express their commitment to review the resolution on global trade initiated by the Grass Roots Global Justice Alliance ( a network which includes National Jobs with Justice and many of JwJ local coalitions). We are committed to participate in taking action to support the position. This includes calling on all local JwJ coalitions to support this resolution, and to participate in education and mobilization efforts. Resolution 4: Jobs with Justice (JwJ) representatives at the US Social Forum wish to express our commitment to establishing access to quality health care as a fundamental human right in the United States. We believe we must mobilize a coalition of the uninsured, the under-insured, and healthcare workers in the struggle to finally establish health care for all as a reality in the US. This commitment includes calling on all local JwJ coalitions to participate in education with their members and participate in local and national actions, mobilizations and to join other allied groups in a National Day of Action for Health Care as a Human Right. Resolution 5: Jobs with Justice (JwJ) representatives at the USSF remain committed to the US Social Forum and the Peoples Movement Assembly and will continue educating and building for the next social forum in 2010. We will find opportunities to build strategic alliances with many of the other grassroots, base-building organizations that we have engaged with through this process on the local, regional, national, and global levels.
