North Star is providing a limited number of scholarships to current grantees only.
Third Wave
Third Wave’s U.S. Social Forum Fund provides full scholarships (registration, travel, lodging and food) for young women and transgender activists ages 15 – 30. We are accepting applications from individuals that are currently working for positive social change in their communities. We are supporting young women and transgender youth who are members, staff, board, or volunteers of youth led and intergenerational organizations. The deadline for submission is May 10, 2007. USSF Solidarity Fund

The following regions and sectors will receive priority consideration for stipends: Gulf Coast region & displaced people, Alaska, Caribbean, Pacific, U.S.-Mexico Border region, Indigenous communities, and Youth.
